I was a customer of English Rose Cleaning for approx 2 yrs. Although I agree with the negative review of this company, I was not one of the previous reviewers. Despite that, I received the following threat from Carolyn Cooper, the owner (aka cacooper who posted the only positive review of her own company). Prospective clients should be warned that they are rude, unethical and respond to feedback by threatening legal action. \r

Note from Carolyn Cooper (5/1/07):\r
""I would just like to ask that you have those comments removed immediately (no later than May 15) or I will be contacting our lawyers and suing you and Jennifer for libel since the statements in both reviews are utterly untrue.... I would think that two professional women like yourselves would have better things to do than bad mouth a small company and ruin our reputation just because Jennifer misinterpreted a letter that was never intended to be rude. I find it very immature to say the least."" Note from Carolyn Cooper (3/1/07)responding to my termination of service: ""All three [people who recently terminated service] were young single professionals who expect something for nothing and weren't a great loss to us.""
