Review content:
As a Los Angeles resident, I often crave an escape from the attitude of overrated restaurants in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc. In addition, it's always great to have a killer date spot for an unsuspecting lady. For me, La Loggia satisfies both of these wants. The atmosphere is intimate, but not stuffy. The food has always been superb. And my dates--when i can get them--have always been effusive in their praise of the restaurant, and its owner, Frank Leon, who is a warm and welcoming host. Maurizio is great, too. Everything is fairly priced, and the service has always been above par. With the addition of the Next Door Tapas Lounge--which is connected to the restaurant--La Loggia makes for a fun dining experience. I suggest you arrive before your reservation time so that you can grab a drink and some tapas with your date or dinner party before the main course.
Pros: Parking, price, quality
Cons: can be busy on weekends
