In 2008 my wife and I had a custom home built in the Nashville area. We were meticulous in every aspect of building the home. I spent a lot of time and effort researching and choosing each contractor who worked on the home. Landscaping was no exception!
After a considerable amount effort consisting of research and interviews, my wife and I chose to work with Jim Johnson Landscaping. Jim and Kathy Johnson, owners of Jim Johnson Landscaping, are professional and great to work with. Jim is straightforward and honest about the process. He educated us on the specifics of the project and worked very closely with us in creating a design that met our landscaping needs within our budget.
We presented Jim with a completely blank canvas and in simple terms told him what we wanted. In a less then a week Jim presented us with a detailed landscape design. After the work began, we decided to make a adjustments to the design as construction the home came to an end. Jim was very accommodating and professional with all of our request and offered creative options for us to consider.
At the completion of the project we were so happy with the results that we asked Jim to install our circular driveway. We couldn't figure out what type of finish we wanted, so he spent a week with us driving all over Nashville giving us ideas on potential driveway finishes. We finally settled with his original proposal, which was a beautiful tumbled stone paver with a color died concrete curb. We couldn't be happier with the results.
In the end, Jim and Kathy Johnson created exactly what we were hoping for, a traditional southern looking landscape that looks absolutely beautiful.
