Marc Jacobs is Marc Jacobs--you don't have to be a good buyer if you carry his stuff. Most of the other things in the shop are marginal in terms of taste. The sales staff tells you that everything looks good and hits in all the right places. They are constantly bringing you other things to try on while you are trying what YOU have chosen, after already looking at the rest of what they have. They have many items that have been on the shelves for a year (at least) and have not been marked down at all. I don't know how you can claim cutting edge or the like if that is the case.
