Gorgeous lines, surprising choices, high quality and a really consistent aesthetic. Apple Boutique always seems to carry the most sophisticated and wearable pieces from every line, including a number of new designers you can't find anywhere else in the area. In my experience, the service has been friendly, interested, smart, and never pushy, always telling me when something doesn't work as well as when something does. Most of the staff is truly knowledgeable about fashion and seems to enjoy helping me. This is a wonderful all-around experience--just browsing is like going to a museum--and I have never regretted spending money there. There is nothing else like Apple Boutique in the Triangle. Marc Jacobs is Marc Jacobs--you don't have to be a good buyer if you carry his stuff. Most of the other things in the shop are marginal in terms of taste. The sales staff tells you that everything looks good and hits in all the right places. They are constantly bringing you other things to try on while you are trying what YOU have chosen, after already looking at the rest of what they have. They have many items that have been on the shelves for a year (at least) and have not been marked down at all. I don't know how you can claim cutting edge or the like if that is the case. I am a grad student at Duke, and I drive to Chapel Hill just to shop here...it has some amazing lines, what I normally find in Manhattan when I am visiting home. Definitely highly recommended Pros: the clothes Cons: just that I have to drive from Durham to Chapel Hill to go there. more

If you are looking for a New York, or Los Angeles boutique in Chapel Hill, look no further than Apple Boutique. In a word, stunning clothes, and the service was exquisite, I never felt like the salesperson was just trying to sell me something, she even insisted I leave and think about it before I purchased, and was even knowledgable about the other shops in the area....whenever I need a dress for an occasion, or anything really, this is absolutely the first place I look, and I haven't been disappointed.
