Review content:
My fiance (now wife) and I went here on a whim about six months ago, using a coupon we had purchased online. We like to try new restaurants and we often drove by Christies. Our first time there we were absolutely floored with how good the food was. I think I ordered the turkey dinner. We decided to go back a second time a few weeks later and again, same good service, same great food (I think I ordered the ravioli this time).
Because of the wedding we were planning we were realizing that catering can be quite expensive. Figuring Christies would be just as expensive as the next guy ($20+ a person) we weren't even going to ask, but figured what the heck. It turns out it doesn't hurt to ask! Using the awesome ravioli meal as a benchmark we got an awesome deal. Bulk foods like pasta and salad work wonders on your wedding food budget! People never talk about the food at a wedding unless it's REALLY good or REALLY bad. Well, it's been about 2 weeks since we've been married and I still have family calling me asking what catering company we had.
Highly recommended. Don't miss out on this Portland gem.
Pros: Quality, Cleanliness, Staff, Taste
Cons: Too delicious?
