Businiess name:  Numero Uno Pizza Pasta & More

Review content:
No fancy ?designer? Italian pies deceptively calling themselves ?pizza? here. That?s why I refer to the original Italian-American pizza pie consisting simply of a pizza dough crust, tomato-based pizza sauce, your choice of favorite toppings from the original list of pizza toppings: pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, olives, onions, tomato chunks, real Mozzarella Cheese ONLY, etc., as ?THE TRADITIONAL PIZZA.? And I believe that the BEST ?Everything on it? Traditional Pizza is made at Numero Uno?s pizza restaurant chain and it is called ?The Slaughterhouse Pizza.? Their ?Slaughterhouse Pizza? is a deep-dish pan pizza?NOT Chicago-style?that consists of a 1-inch thick, slightly-sweet ?secret recipe? pizza dough topped with lots of pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and green bell peppers. Smells heavenly and tastes oh, so delicious! HOWEVER, it does ?lose something? in the flavor when cooled and later re-heated. To verify why I believe this is the best ?Everything on it? pizza, you must first taste it freshly-made and hot out of the oven so that you can taste all of the flavors melding together inside your mouth. So, unless you literally live within 5 minutes of a Numero Uno location, try not to order this particular pizza for ?Take Out,? or else your FIRST IMPRESSION of the ?Slaughterhouse Pizza? will be a major disappointment. \r \r NOTE: Personally, I have often patronized both the Glendale and the Pasadena Numero Uno locations and the quality there is consistent. I have not visited the Toluca Lake location, but other pizza lovers have been happy with that Numero Uno location, too. While each Numero Uno location is independently-owned and operated, they don?t seem to work together as a whole: some owners just don?t care about the food quality at their restaurant?which could give all Numero Uno pizza locations a bad name; and not all restaurants will honor ?Numero Uno? discount coupons, either. So, buyer beware. \r Pros: Great Pizza. Good value for your money. Look up their ""Lunch Specials."" Cons: Re Pasadena location: Very limited parking available in their mini-mall parking lot.
