Review content:
I moved into the Little Cottonwoods Feb 2012. I was in the apartment for less than 2 months because the house I purchased closed early. I left this apartment spotless. I was charged for a carpet cleaning of over $300 because of ""severe pet stains"". I did not have a pet and the carpet when I left did not have any pet stains nor was the carpet ""dirty"". Needless to say I was sure a mistake had been made. I went to see management and I was told that if the carpet cleaning company said there were pet stains then I was guilty of having a pet. I am furious that they can get by with making these kind of unfounded charges with no recourse for me. After researching my options I found that these kind of bogus charges happen frequently apartment renters and short of filing a small claims case (which I am looking into) there is not much one can do.
