Review content:
I had high hopes for this place judging by the number of people lined up outside the door on the weekends. I finally had a chance to stop by on a Monday morning when it wasn't too crowded.
I ordered the huevos rancheros carnitas and it was pretty tasty with a nice spiciness to the pork. My wife ate some standard breakfast items, eggs and bacon with home fries. She said it wasn't any better than Perkins.
Even though it wasn't busy, the service wasn't too impressive. The prices were higher than I normally pay for breakfast. While we stood at the cash register waiting to pay our bill, the cashier was laughing and joking with some of the staff. When he finally came to ring us up, instead of asking us how everything was, he said ""The food was great, right?"" It seemed more like he was telling us, rather than asking us.
Even though I live only 5 minutes from the restaurant, I think I'll save some money, and eat breakfast somewhere else next time.
