Wow. I researched this place online before going, and despite the reviews on here, decided to give it a try. I don't know what restaurant the others went to, but it sure as heck wasn't Gridley's. I stepped in and was instantly greeted warmly by the hostess and the owner, and a ballon was presented to my three-year old. They gave us a big corner booth even though it was busier and we only had four people in the party, so that my daughter would have room to make her usual mess. Service was amazing. They asked if my daughter's food should be brought asap, OF COURSE, I've never had that asked before and am stunned at how thoughtful our waiter, Dave, was. We never ran low on rolls, soda, or wine. The portions were huge, and their smoked pork chops fell apart with the first touch of the knife. Everything was tender, perfectly cooked, and brought as requested. I couldn't have had a more wonderful dining experience in my life, and will now be returning to the restaurant on a weekly basis!
