Review content:
After searching all around Vancouver for decent Chinese food, my husband and I discovered Golden City right in our own backyard. The restaurant is tucked away in a very average looking strip mall so our hopes were not high, but boy were we ever pleasantly surprised! We LOVE this place and will not go anywhere else for Chinese. We have tried an array of dishes here and have never come across one that was anything less than perfect. Our favorite dishes include pork fried rice and sesame chicken. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet (efficient, welcoming, and show gratitude to all customers). I have recommended Golden City to many friends in search of great local Chinese, and I am proud to say all are now hooked and have become customers for life. The ambience at Golden City is pleasant and clean, but nothing fancy. They also offer great take-out. Eat here, you will not be sorry.
