Review content:
I normally don’t write negative reviews, but please ask OC Autohaus a lot of questions before you buy from them. What happened to me is something I don’t want to happen to you.
They sold me a black 2006 Lexus GS300 that had been in multiple accidents and had been repainted more than 75% of the body. I confirmed this with the Lexus dealership and 2 independent auto body shops. Now I’m not sure what other things I will find out about the car.
The people who work at OC Autohaus are “supposedly” professionals in the business, they should know a when a car has had body work or been repainted. They have to - simply b/c when buying the car, they need to know how much to buy it for.
Of course, they deny having any previous knowledge of this. As a remedy, they offered to color sand it, but the body shop they used was terrible and only left bigger swirls on a black car. Also, they did not detail the car properly in order to hide the paint issues. After I had it detailed I found out about the body work and paint issues. In addition to that, I verbally confirmed before agreeing to buy the car if the major 30k service had been completed, and they said “yes” - this was never done. Their response to all this, is I bought a “used car”. OC Autohaus has not fixed any of the major issues. They did fix the minor cheap things that should have been fixed anyway, but they cut corners on the major expenses.
Other small issues: when I picked up the car the passenger floor panel was missing and they simply removed it from another car into mine, they never included an extra key, the cargo net for the trunk was missing, and moisture developed in the front headlight and they advised me to go to Lexus to have it repaired and have the Lexus dealership eat the cost. Its small things like these that make me question the people who work at OC Autohaus and the company itself. Buyer beware!
