Shade Bar Spa is a gorgeous place, the service is great, the lovely girls that work there are very knowledgeable, professional and sweet, and ?ssssst? it is cheaper than the two places I used to go to in Manhattan! (I hope they don?t raise the prices now that I said that). First, I had a wonderful facial and then a full body spray tan and I left feeling like I just came back from the Caribbean? I loved it and everybody was complimenting me for days! I have been back for other services (I had a hot stone massage that was incredible) and I was never disappointed. Every time I am there, I feel as if I escaped into a world of calm, balance and beauty. I am thrilled that they moved to Astoria and I am telling all my friends and family about them.
Pros: Great atmosphere, great services and a great neighborhood for dinner after a relaxing beauty treatment!
Cons: Not open on Mondays (my day off)
