I WANT OUT OF HEALTHSPRING IMMEDIATELY! AT ONCE!!!!!!\r

I WAS SENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM BY MY PRIMARY DOCTOR TO HAVE A BROKEN WRIST TAKEN CARE OF. THE ER COULDN'T HELP ME AND REFERRED ME TO AN ORTHO MAN WHO IN TURN RESET THE ARM. I FOLLOWED ALL DIRECTIONS!!!!!! TURNS OUT HE WASN’T IN YOUR DIRECTORY.\r

NOW I HAVE A BILL WITH THE ORTHO DOCTOR OF ABOUT $2000. NO DOCTOR ON YOUR REGISTRY LIST WILL TOUCH THE ARM WITH A TEN FOOT POLE AND I CANT EVEN GET MEDICARE A OR B TO GO TO A NON-HEALTH SPRING DOCTOR. I HAVE NO FOLLOW UP CARE AND WILL HAVE TO CUT THE CAST OFF MYSELF AT THE END OF 6 WEEKS. \r

No one will help - the primary doctor, any other doctor in or out of this program and especially HealthSpring - it's just pass the buck. HealthSpring stinks the most with it's condescending attitude.\r

Don't waste your time with this one! Getting referrals from your primary doctor, required for anything and everything, is like pulling teeth out of a rabid pitbull. \r

HealthSpring is supposed to be managing your medicare account with exra's thrown in. One missed direction and you are screwed. Thank God my neighbor is a surgical nurse and has access to special tools and will help me remove the cast in 4 weeks. \r

I am a 72 year old retired lady living on $839/month which is just barely enough to live on without having to pay off a doctor $2K when I supposedly have insurance coverage. Obviously I would have been much better off just living with Medicare - Parts A & B. Now I still have to wait for the end of the month before I can get back on Medicare.\r
