Review content:
I have purchased many pieces from this store, and Michael and Soraya were always very gracious and welcoming to me. They were always happy to show me their new pieces and sit down for a glass of wine when I stopped by later in the afternoon. But, things began to change for me financially, and soon after, their disposition toward began to change as well. It became clear to me when I brought one of my Crevoshay pieces in for repair. The Cayens had never charged for maintenance to my pieces, and I never even thought to ask about the price on this repair because it was so minor (a small loop connecting two pieces had broken). When I returned to pick up the pendant, Michael handed me a bill for $150. I reminded him that maintenance had always been included to which he responded, “Yes, we do include maintenance for our clients, but you haven’t bought anything from us for over a year.” Then he proceeded to explain his reasoning in such a way that made it sound like he had been doing me a favor by letting me purchase jewelry from his store for all these years. I was in complete shock. I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach. I have spent over $70,000 in this store and they have written me off as a client after just one year! Over a $150 repair! The experience was so hurtful that it is difficult for me to even enjoy wearing the pieces I have purchased from them over the years. Needless to say, I will not be going back, and I am ashamed that I allowed myself to have ever been drawn in by these disingenuous people. Pros: unique pieces Cons: Awful service, rudeness, fakeness
