I am writing this review as both a one time employee AND a customer of H. H. Seiferth. \r \r This was my first ""Design"" job after graduating from The Art Institute. The job was horrible and the office personnel were even worse. The negativity that is balled up in their Strip Disctrict shop is unmeasureable. It's been ten years or so since I worked there, but I can only imagine it is still the same. The other comments hit the nail on the head! There is no real training, no real design to the job, and the staff is so uncurtious it's almost unreal. Theresa, as the other reviewer posted, seems nice at first but is not. Don't be fooled. Just call there and ask for her. You can tell as soon as she picks up the phone it's going to be painful. Going on an install with Angelo, the owner isn't much better. Be warned young designers...this is not a job that you want! The pay is good, but it's not worth the horrible working environment.\r \r Flash ahead Ten years, and I've become a manager of a Graphics Department for a company here in Pittsburgh and I've used Seiferths on more than one occasion. Now they're horrible to work for, BUT THEY DO MAKE A GOOD PRODUCT! Everytime I've had a job it's been fantastic. The hard part is actually getting info from them, having them call you back, etc. That's like pulling teeth, I did a job with them not long ago and after three weeks waiting to hear back from them, I called, left a message with the receptionist and a week later was calling back again. \r \r If you can suffer through the pain of constant back and forth to get things done, and get by with no info being relayed, they do indeed put out a great product. You just have to take the bull by the horns to get what you want. (Probably not the best business practice.)\r \r I'm glad I got out of there when I did, (I just never went back), the horrible environment was too much...It was a start and I do appreciate them them hiring me all those years ago with no experience, and I admire their desire to put out a high-quality product, but after that last job and the constant feeling of wondering when the install would actually occur, I have to say...I'm thinking about finding a new vendor.
