my family's experience with Commons at Squirrel Hill was to say at least...pitiful. My sister was there for 15 days and passed away on questionable circumstances. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE who is looking to place their loved ones. The nursing staff is not personable, they do not relay information between each other, and do not have your loved ones interest in mind. I witnessed patients roaming the halls unattended, lack of response time when a machine goes off, not checking in on patients who otherwise could not communicate to you their problems. When my sister passed away, they didn't even send a sympathy card, letter, note, email,NOTHING!! as if she wasn't there. I give them NO RATING...one star would have been giving them too much credit. please STAY AWAY...you do not want your loved one there!!!...the ONLY reason I put a STAR is because it wouldn't let me select NO STARS!!!!!!!
