i've been to several ""exotic vets"" in town and no one even comes close! i've never been turned away and have been squeezed in any time i need. i have mutiple reptiles,and of all the vets i've seen, dr. griffin is the best. he really cares and knows his stuff when it comes to reptiles. in the time that i have been using griffin exotics, i have lost several animals but absolutely to no fault of dr. griffin.his staff is very kind, compassionate and actually gives a damn. i will never go anywhere else. just look at his website. he may not be as big as some of the others like petsmart or carolina veterinary specialists, but those places are general exotic vets and specialize in nothing.( in my opinion) and in response to the previous review that i read, dr griffin is not interested only in making money, he really cares. most people dont have the husbandry skills needed to care for exotic pets nor dot hey take the time to investigate these animals before purchasing them. no matter who you chose, do the research and know your animals habits and needs before you purchase. most important of all, always purchase from a reputable breeder and not some big name pet store. the differences will floor you! these animals are part of your family and when you need help, i recommend griffin avain & exotics.
