Affordable Handyman (of Hilliard, Ohio) refuse honored the agreement we have with them.\r

They agreed to: \r
install hardwood floors, \r
install ceramic tiles on floors and walls, \r
install cabinets\r
joint compound drywall\r
build short wall for kitchen island\r
build wall partition for bath and closets\r
install showers, tubs, toilet, vanities, 6-paneled doors.\r
Paint walls and ceiling \r
Reroute electrical wiring and insert lights\r
Shift duct work and reroute plumbing as needed\r

Affordable Handyman started work shortly after the 4th of July and was suppose to complete the work in 5-7 weeks. With a couple understandable delays they should have finished the work in 7-9 weeks, max. Now 18 weeks later, they?ve only completed around 50%, but have received 99% of their fees from my wife and I.\r

They have admitted they can not finish the rest of the work in a timely manner and recommend us to find someone who can. \r

Here?s the Kickers though. They refuse to refund us for the work they have not finished. Their only response is that they did other work that was not in the contract. We feel it was apart of the agreement, and we went over extensively that requirement during the walk-through/itemize phase. Besides this issue they still refuse to refund us for the remaining 50% of the work not complete, so we can hire another company to finish it.\r

Affordable Handyman refused to even give us an approximate amount they are willing to refund.\r

They are not operating fairly, persistently delayed work and not provide adequate staffing to ensure a timely completion of the work agreed to.\r

They are not very apologetic, but combative in their response to our complaint.\r
\r
They just provide excuses and not willing to take action to satisfy their customers.\r
\r
Customers should steer clear of Affordable Handyman of Hilliard Ohio.\r
