Review content:
as one of the many bleary-eyed new yorkers who cannot begin the day without a cup of coffee, i have been quite lucky to have very accidentally stumbled upon macchiato bar. after only three visits, the staff knew my drink and made it with a smile. not only is it refreshing to be greeted cheerfully in the morning, it is also quite lovely to enjoy a cup of coffee that doesn't taste like the bottom of the urn it was brewed in. i am also impressed at their efficiency: given the long lines in the morning and that there are only 3 people behind the counter (2 of whom make the drinks), the line moves swiftly and with little confusion, which is more than i can say for other establishments, namely one whose name rhymes with ""car-trucks."" my only gripe is that they are only open until 6pm and not open on the weekend. otherwise, i have nothing negative to say.
