I took my pregnant cat to see Dr. Lambert today after I brought her to the doctor at Petsmart yesterday. She needed a c-section because she could not have her kitten, it was breech. The doctor at petsmart told me it would be $400 dollars, I did not have that much and his only other suggestion was to have her put to sleep. So the doctor gave her a shot of oxytocin and sent her home. I called Dr.Lamberts office and he personally spoke to me and told me to bring her in, he would wait for her, it was almost 6pm. I decided to wait to see if she would have the kitten by herself and after she couldn't I was there first thing in the morning. From the time I walked in the staff was so helpful. He took her immediately and assured me the entire time what he was doing. She had one kitten, who was not breathing, the staff saved her life! \r For anyone who sayd this docotor does not care about animals they are wrong. He saw numerous pets today, even if the owners did not have the money to pay for them. He was more interested in the animals best interest.\r And his staff is very knowledgeable. Could just anyone take a newborn kitten who could not breathe and help her? They did not give up on her and she is doing great!\r Yes, the waiting room is small, and it is a walk in clinic, so If you show up at noon you might have to wait. My suggestion is to get there earlier. \r The bottom line is the staff and the Doctor are great and I could not have asked for more.
