Review content:
I've been seeing Dr. Kao since I was in the 6th grade--I am now a junior in college. I think she's a great optometrist. She has so many patients, yet she still has a pretty good memory of her patients' conditions (granted you came in within the last few months for a check-up). It's also a big plus that she is completely fluent (read: no accents!) in both Mandarin and English, so when my parents came in with me as a kid, we all understood what she was saying. She is also very credentialed and experienced. Yes, some of the products are pricey, but it's a very comprehensive and professional office. Even the receptionists are very timely in reminding you of appointments or letting you know when you contacts/glasses are in. There are plenty of ""chain"" optometries and private practices closer to where I live in Cupertino, but even after nearly 10 years, the drive is definitely still worth it. I don't think I could trust any other optometrist as much as I do Dr. Kao. She is one of the reasons why I am studying to get into Optometry School.
