I have used Precision in the past when I was not able to shop around and a retailer told me they were good. Looking back I know I grossly overpaid and waited far too long for the repairs to be done. This time I had a $600 (4 years ago) Denon home theater receiver short out. They quoted me a range of $225-275 and a turnaround time of 3-6 weeks! I almost left it there but instead shopped around at 3 other repair shops and ended up getting the repair done for a little over $100 in less than 3 days at a nearby shop. Unless you have audiophile-level gear or money and time are no object, I am not sure why anyone continues to use their repair service for consumer-grade equipment, except that you don't know where else to go... Pros: They have a good name Cons: A rip off
