I had a k1200s under warranty. Some issues with my bike started occurring intermittently and after research on the inter-webs i found the solutions. The solutions were to take it to the dealer and replace some parts. 1) bike stalling out issue was caused by a bad charcoal filter, which Jon tried to blame on ME! after 3 trips (they did not see any issues), escalation to BMW NA Motorrad, this was finally fixed. 2) wobbly steering was due to bad ball joints in front suspension, this was a known issue along many k1200s owners. Jon denied any issues with my bike on 2-3 trips to dealership. Warranty expired while he was dragging feet... Then he advised that i am not under warranty and it will cost me money to replace those ball joints. I argued that the issue was reported BEFORE warranty expired, he said ""it's not in the service records""... that's hilarious, because HE is the one who places the notes in the service records!!! After escalation to BMW NA again and a lot of frustration, Jon agreed to replace the parts. When i picked up the bike, he said the only replace ONE ball joint instead of both. Does this make sense to take the whole suspension apart to replace just one ball joint??? now i am waiting for my other ball joint to seize up while i am riding on highway... Thanks for WORST service EVER! PS. and yes, they don't say mean words, but they have that shady attitude in which anyone would feel repulsed to go to this place ever again.
