Review content:
My wife purchased a new 2008 R1200GS from the dealership last year for me when I returned home from Afghanistan. She had no issues with the sale; however, the customer service to this point has been so substandard that I would NEVER purchase from Capitol BMW again.\r
I took my bike there for the first 600 mile service. Before I even got home, my ""low oil"" light came on and I had to have my wife come pick me up because the dealership was closed and I was concerned that the engine would seize up. After getting it home I checked the oil level and it didn't even register in the crank case. I immediately phoned Jon Ross the following day and left a voice message stating my concern that the dealership didn't put enough oil in the bike during the service. Several days later he left me a voice mail asking what my mailing address was because he was going to send me a quart of oil. WTF??? No explanation as to why they didn't put the requisite amount of oil in the bike, no apology, nothing. I couldn't help but wonder what else they forgot to do. I left at least half a dozen additional messages requesting that he return my call. I just wanted an explanation of why they neglected to service my bike properly. I still haven't received a call from the dealership. Beware of Capitol BMW. They'll gladly take your money but good luck beyond that. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you want a new BMW bike, go to the dealership in Charlotte, NC.
