First I must say Bill (owner), Is a great person. My Short term working for service was cut short as I was deemed to slow to perform oil changes, or was it I was doing multiple duties at once, that made a 35min oil change turn into a hour, Its hard to do a lube job when your driving customers at the same time. After a short while a new person can in to fill in my shoes (Nice guy by the way). Stan the service manager decided to keep me around for the morning shift unfortunately my promise of a pay raise and health benefits were taken away. I continued to work on this shift for a period of thee months. Last week was my last week of employment, as I was starting my Wednesday shift I was greeted by a young new face, little did I know that I was going to train my successor, my duty today was to show this kid some of the routes and tell him who and not to talk to. Coming back to the shop, Stan called me to the front office. His words “We no longer require your service” WTF! I did everything this man asked, I put up with ridicule and tempter tantrums, for what! To be shoved out the door to save a few bucks. This manger had given me no prior inclination of his intent. I made myself available at anytime, rarely used sick days, and AWAYS showed up on time, I guess being a good worker is not enough these days. I was given no exit interview or reason that I was let go. Thank you Art of Maintenance for wasting my time.
