Three of us went to DA Mimmo on Saturday nite. The food was excellent, creative and tasty. However, I think that it was pricey for what we got.
The restaurant atmosphere was fine, even though it was a little cramped where we sat.
Service, however, was not acceptable. The waiter seemed put out and bored by our questions about the dishes and by our not ordering wine. I believe that the expression is ""He looked down his nose at us"". We usually dine at better restaurants, and we are not used to this. But, regardless of the waiter's impression of the clients, all clients should be treated with a certain amount of respect and deference, especially considering the price tag of the meal. And, this meal had a big price tag.
