I'm particular...VERY particular. \r I am from DC and could not find a stylist in the Boston area that I have been happy with. I have been to a couple of salons on Newbury Street that have left me looking like JonBonJovie in his heyday.\r I have curly hair ..\r \r A coworker gave me a $20 dollar gift card to try her stylist, Linda Cohen-Flynn at Davis.\r \r The first time I saw her was a saturday. She was running behind about 10 minutes. She introduced herself, and had someone get me coffee.\r We chatted instead of getting shampooed first which I was happy about since my hair is completely different wet. She listened very carefully to my concerns...asked me about what I do with my hair, products , blowdry etc.\r I was nervous...but it came out exactly like my beloved DC stylist cuts it.\r \r The second time I saw her I was 15 min late do to the T breaking down. I was nervous she was going to rush me...instead, she took me with a smile and apologized to her next client for being late. The service I received at Davis was impeccable. Give yourself plenty of time for parking and to walk around ..... Pros: Stylist /Salon Cons: Parking not easy on a Saturday
