Review content:
My girlfriend and I have visited Joey T's a number of times. It's a convenient half-way place for us to meet midweek for drinks or dinner, she being from Lake Geneva and me from Crystal Lake.\r

First, it?s in a very nice setting at the end of North Riverside Driver. The rustic, mansion-looking building is surrounded by beautiful grounds right along McHenry's new harbor walk -- perfect for a romantic after dinner stroll. In addition to the nicely appointed, intimate dining room, there's the lively Scully's bar and, in the summer, the outdoor Blue Parrot Lounge. Owner's Joey and Scully treat you like old friends when you walk in, even if it?s your first time. If you're lucky, you might see the gorgeous blue and gold tucan (hear that Notre Dame fans?), after whom the outdoor lounge is named, perched upon Scully's shoulder as he chats with customers in the bar. The food is nicely prepared and quite good. The pasta dishes are excellent. We'll be going back there often, especially on nights when there's live entertainment, such a Gregory B or Dorian Castle. If you're looking for a nice evening, put Joey T's at the top of your list.
Pros: Good Food in a Romantic Setting
Cons: Bar dining can be loud
