I do not get how Precious Memories won an award from The Knot. I was so disappointed. Even though there was only one other customer in the store and three salepeople on duty, I almost had to beg for help. Once I finally got the girls out, the one was very helpful in helping me find a veil, but the owner was very rude. She rolled her eyes when I asked a question about shoes and spoke to me in a degrading tone when I asked if they would be able to order shoes in a size 8 (who doesn't carry a size 8 anyway -- it's a very popular size). Your wedding day should be special and shopping for gowns and acessories should be FUN! I left the store feeling sad and insignificant. Poor customer service. (and poor shoe selection even though they boast three brands). Eww.
