Review content:
We had a similar experience to the other reviewer that tried bringing in a coupon. They imposed a bizarre coupon policy that the combined price of our entrees had to exceed $35. It wouldn't matter if we ordered 20 appetizers, the *entrees* had to exceed $35. Since nearly every entree on the menu was under $17, it was frustrating, to say the least. So we reluctantly chose two entrees from our highly restricted options, only to be told, about a half-hour later that they ran out of one of them. Despite the fact that they ran out, the owner wouldn't relax his restrictions.\r \r The other reviewer was right to say they are sloooooooooooow. It took forever for our meals to finally arrive. When they finally did arrive, the portions were small and the food was pretty bland. A box of Kraft Mac & Cheese would have had more kick. For that price, I expected something better tasting, or at least more of it.\r \r If you want good Italian food in Somerville, go to Vinny's at Night or Lil' Vinny's, but stay away from Amelias.\r Pros: Ambience Cons: Food, Value, Ownership
