Back Bay Farm is a wonderful barn located in Ipswich Massachusetts. They have a modern barn with both indoor and outdoor rings. The school is great for riders of all levels and the barn actively participates local and regional horse shows. This is a superb place for children to learn how to ride and take care of horses. You do not need to own a horse to take lessons at the barn and they have a good mix of school horses for all sizes and ability levels. One of the best parts of the riding at the barn is beach rides on Cranes Beach in the fall and winter months. We found the barn to be very well organized and clean. They have a heated tack room which is nice in the winter months. The barn is located in a wooded area of Ipswich with unimpeded access to trails that run right alongside the property.
