would NOT recommend The Lap Top Guy to anyone. The customer service is awful, extremely rude managers as well as owners, and if possible their repairs and inventory are even worse. I sent a laptop in to be repaired for a minor problem, the power cord kept coming loose. Within 48 hours after getting my laptop back it died. The Lap Top Guy claimed it was a fluke and if I bought a computer through them they would put what I paid for the repairs towards purchasing a computer through them. I decided on a refurbished Apple. After only having this computer for 1 year it died. I took it into The Lap Top Guy, because it was still under warranty. They called me letting me know that my keys were sticky from a spill, there was no need to run the diagnostic, and my laptop wouldn't be covered under warranty. I thought they must have had the wrong computer, nothing has been spilled on the computer while in my care. I explained this and offered the possibility that they sold me a computer that had deformed parts. My keys weren't sticky, they clicked like many do, but this is the way I bought the computer. I spoke with the manager, who has no business working with customers, I have never been talked to so poorly. When the owners were contacted they declined to call to talk through this issue, and corresponded through email. Again, instead of getting to the bottom the owner jumped to the defense of the company and didn't care to help the situation. I will NEVER use The Lap Top Guy again, and highly recommend to anyone needing computer assistance look into another company. Pros: NOTHING Cons: bad customer service, even worse repiars
