We stopped in here a few years ago because another restaurant we liked nearby was too busy to seat us. We were seated immediately, the staff was efficient and welcoming, the food was fantastic. We were overall pleased. We decided to go back to try again to see if it was just first time luck. We were welcomed back with open arms and wonderful service. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome---we nicknamed it Cheers because we feel like we are at our home ""bar"" with the friendship and camaraderie even if you have never met the other patrons . When I was ill, they sent home extra soup for me when I did not join a group for dinner. As the title says, we have NEVER had a bad piece of fish or other item at 2-2 EVER. I cannot say that about ANY other sushi place. They do not put ""junk"" on special plates--you know, the things few other people will eat, so it gets tossed onto a ""chef special plate"" at many places---NOT at 2-2! We have taken many, many friends there--including our over 90 y.o. grandmother--she is welcomed and she loves it there (she does not eat sushi and enjoys dinners there). Kids are also VERY welcome there.\r

2-2 gets busy late Fri nites and Sat nites, but we have only had to wait for a table once---an entire high school sports team came in---but it was a short wait.\r

If you want a place without attitude, great service, terrific food and a not too loud atmosphere (except during karaoke) then head on over to Sushi 2-2.
Pros: Great food, Great service, Great people, not too expensive
Cons: small space can get filled quickly during busy times
