I went to Ortanique on the Mile to celebrate my anniversary with my significant other. The restaurant has beautiful decor and I was looking forward to experiencing great food and a great time. We enjoyed the food immensely. It is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. However, unfortunately the service was not great. We had a waitress, we believe her name was Juanita. She was disconnected and you can tell that she was not interested in being there. When I asked her questions regarding a certain dish, I can almost swear that she rolled up her eyes. It is a true shame, because beside the bad service, we were very satisfied with the food we ate. This restaurant is known in the Gables to be one of the best restaurants in town. We drove down all the way from Aventura, but we will never come back again to be treated with such rudeness.
