Review content:
I was considering moving to NY and flew to Buffalo to check out the area in Nov., 2002. A friend of mine picked me up at the Buffalo Airport and took me to The Boston Hotel for my first meal, where I enjoyed the best filet I have ever eaten. I moved to the Chautauqua area shortly afterwards and lived in NY state for almost a year and ate at The Boston Hotel frequently. I found the food and the service to be consistently good. My favorites were, or course, the Hotel's filet, their clams (which they are famous for) and the scampi. I, also, enjoyed the quaint ambience of The Boston Hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Buffalo area.
Pros: reasonably priced, good food & service, quaint atmosphere
