Awesome Seafood, Service, Price 3/14/2008

Yes, Boston Hotel has two locations. One in the Boston Hills and the other is on Rt 33. Both places are great. Will be visiting tomorrow in Boston, NY. Best food and service. Love the primerib sandwich, their clams and lobster danties. You get alot for your buck. The servers are very friendly. Place is packed all the time. So what does that tell ya. Two great places to eat. Visit both of them. Pros: Two Thumbs Up Cons: Get there early before 4pm to get a seat quick. more

The last person who reviewed this restaurant is not very intelligent. 4/28/2007

The previous review on this page is actually about a different Boston Hotel... and, by the sounds of it, the person obviously wasn't very smart. more

Rude and Impolite Security People 3/13/2007

Boston Hotel: Near Buffalo Airport (BUF)\r \r I heard from friends that this place has a good crab dish, so I just decided to try it out. However, it turned out to be the worst place I ever dined. Don't be confusing with the word ""hotel"", my first impression after hearing the name is it would be a restaurant in a hotel or something like that. This place has a sport bar in the front and a restaurant inside. To get in there, you need a valid ID, ... ok, no problem. \r \r The problem came from their security guards who seemed to be drunk a little bit. One of my friend showed them her ID, and they kept yelling (yeah !, yelling at a womon, how rude these cave men are !) ..""YOU CANNOT SHOW ME A WRONG ID, YOU USE THIS ID BEFORE FOR ANOTHER GIRL"" .... What's the hell ??!! We just got inside, show us our ID, and they yelled at one of my friend like this ?!!! ... \r \r OK, no mood for any food, no matter how best the food is. We decided to leave, but they kept my friend driver license and didn't return it !! .... And they asked us to wait in a hall way (since many customers started to look at us), one of their (cave man) guard went inside to the restaurant side, tried to find ""another girl"" that they mentioned about. Finally, they returned without any finding, returned my friend's license, and asked us to leave ... Oh, yeah ! I will be more than happy to leave this place as soon as my friend gets her license back. \r \r Bottom line: Be careful with their dogs/cave men, they don't understand any human language at all. Pros: Nothing Cons: Rude, impolite, and (may be) drunken security guards more

Out In The Sticks 5/18/2005

We've dined there three times and found the value is good. Not expensive, many choices, and food was served very quickly. Great place to dine when shopping and in a hurry. The only negative occurred when we ordered the ""all you can eat"" clams. The clams were all of 1/2 inch in diameter. Pros: quick, parking, value more

Best Filet I've Ever Eaten 3/11/2004

I was considering moving to NY and flew to Buffalo to check out the area in Nov., 2002. A friend of mine picked me up at the Buffalo Airport and took me to The Boston Hotel for my first meal, where I enjoyed the best filet I have ever eaten. I moved to the Chautauqua area shortly afterwards and lived in NY state for almost a year and ate at The Boston Hotel frequently. I found the food and the service to be consistently good. My favorites were, or course, the Hotel's filet, their clams (which they are famous for) and the scampi. I, also, enjoyed the quaint ambience of The Boston Hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the Buffalo area. Pros: reasonably priced, good food & service, quaint atmosphere more
