Review content:
I had heard that the pastor here pays himself handsomely, lives in a million dollar home, drives luxury cars and has an outrageous clothing budget. It is all true. He constantly challenges his flock to donate large sums of money, $800 last year and $900 this year on top of his expected 10% tithe. He says to do it even if your home is in foreclosure... that Jesus will heal your finances. But does that matter? No... because you don't have to tithe and you don't have to contribute unless you want to. Sure the pastor rewards himself but he is of a breed of church leaders that feel Jesus rewards those that bring the word of God to so many. Let him believe this but you don't have to support it financially. I do recommend going to this church. You will feel the power of Jesus, not because of the rock star pastor, but because of the good people of the church. If Jesus pays special attention to a gathering of good people, here is your place to head every Sunday. Pros: Nice facilities for kids, great congregation Cons: Rock star pastor aspires to be more like Osteen than Jesus.
