Celebration Church

I love this Church and have attended it for 5 years now. Joe and Lori Champion are salt of the earth people who genuinely care about people. To get the most out of any church you have to serve and join a small group. This church is no different. more

If blowing peoples ear drums is more important then the health of the congregation... it's not a place I want to be. I've been there 4 times...today I had to leave! I felt like sharp pencil were being stuck in my ears. I left crying, the pain was so bad. I wanted to become a member & was attending a 4 Point Prgm (opposite the doors to the sanctuary. Like I said, it was awful. My concern is for the young children & infants!!! Very sad more

Celebration is not a "bad" church but depending on where you are in your walk with Christ and in your life should determine if you decide to worship there. If you're seeking a church where you won't feel restricted in your worship and praise, this may not be the church for you. If you're looking for a church where you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, this may not be the church for you. If you're looking for a church where the messages prepare you for the spiritual warfare you face every day, this may not be the church for you. Celebration is a very entertaining, theatrical, conservative, don't want to offend anyone type of church where you basically fade into the crowd. If that's the type of church you desire in this season in your life, this may be the church for you. more

After accepting Jesus as my Lord & Savior, I searched for a home church. I tried Celebration. The experience was so emotionally draining and humiliating for me that I decided to shoot a documentary about it and enter it into film festivals. The name of the documentary "No Forgiveness Here" portrays my feelings when one day every staff member of this church started ignoring me. They ignored emails, phone calls, and would turn and walk the other way on Sunday morning. I wasn't confronted with my trespasses, I have no idea. So I tried to follow the Bible's guidance. I wrote emails and letters to every person I knew that said "I have offended you somehow. I won't bother you further, I won't attend Celebration any more. I just want to say I'm sorry and ask for your forgiveness." Nothing. If you are hurting, in need of love & forgiveness, I can't tell you that you'll find it here.
