Review content:
Good news - we arrived home in one piece and our car wasn't towed! Margies dates back to 1935 at least, according to their memorabilia. Unfortunately, the store features some very old ""aromas"" - it doesn't have a clean, fresh restaurant smell. The friendly staff goes out of their way to remind you that your car will be towed out of any adjacent lot and to find metered parking. But metered parking is on streets that feature a LOT of abandoned cars and street people - I'm not exaggerating.
Margies was filled with Mom's with kids. The ice cream treats were very good, but I can only recommend Margie's for ""urban explorer"" types.
Therefore, I rate Margie's a ""Creapy Treat"".
