Margie's is a fun place to go if you don't mind a little wait, though i would avoid afternoons. its prime bring the kiddies time. the ice cream is the fun ""good old fashioned"" kind which is hard to find these days. i really enjoyed this place. it does smell a bit funny but that quickly fades once you see the huge serving of ice cream you get :) the service is sometimes bordering on rude however almost every time i've gone i get this wonderfully sweet waitress and i have a great time. so it just depends, kind of like at any other restaurant right? oh, and i think it's pretty sad that so many people are afraid of the area, seriously you people need to get out more. some of the people on here are making this area sound like cabrini green at 2 in the morning, come on now.
Pros: good old fashined ice cream / ambience
Cons: smells a bit musty / cluttered / parking
