My daughter and I went to Lake Norman Hyundai to look for a car for her 21st. birthday. I asked for the best price for a Sonata that was on the lot. The sales person asked the sales manager. The response was ""When you're serious about buying a car, we'll give you the price."" I felt discriminated against because I was a woman looking for a car with my daughter. I sent my husband in to see if he would have better luck in getting information and he was given a price that he agreed to. The car was due to arrive the next day. After the car arrived, they called and said it was in but that they were mistaken about the price they had quoted and that the car was going to cost $1000 more. My husband and I both felt we were being jerked around. We went 10 miles from home to Hyundai of Concord and purchased the Sonata that same evening and were treated like royalty! We were given the discounts in Concord that Lake Norman said was no longer available. I highly recommend checking out Hyundai of Concord if you want to deal with a friendly staff who honors their quotes.
