Review content:
Due to recent financial hardships, I decided I needed to seek legal advice about the pros and cons of filing bankruptcy versus other alternatives that I was also considering. Before talking with Tony, I met with a different attorney. Not to be harsh, but it was not time well spent. I was rushed in and out and left with an inadequate understanding of the considerable set of factors relevant to my situation. \r
I felt so uncomfortable deciding which course of action I should take that I decided to speak with another attorney. Very good decision on my part. I initially meet with Tony, a very personable individual, for a full hour. I was extremely impressed with his level of knowledge and his ability to clearly explain even rather complicated issues. I agreed to pay a modest fee for him to take my information and run the relevant calculations for deciding if it made sense to file bankruptcy. Over the next few days we exchanged emails and talked for an hour and a half by phone. Never did I feel that he was trying to sell me on filing bankruptcy. Rather, he simply explained with perfect clarity what I could expect if I decided to take that path. \r
Given the changes in the bankruptcy laws since I filed back in the mid-90s, I've come to realize that this is not the best course of action for me at this time. I am now working with my creditors to come to a mutually agreeable solution. \r
I feel extremely fortunate to have found Tony in what was, until his involvement, an extremely stressful and confusing situation. I would not hesitate to call upon him again should the need ever arise and give him my strongest recommendation. \r
Tony: If you read this, thanks so much. You are a credit to your profession. \r
