The Cookalicious Club in Issaquah, WA is supposed to be a cooking school for kids. I see no benefit paying for this service over teaching my kids to cook on my own. The instructors felt forced, condescending, and not really that good with kids. The food was sugary a lot of times and not that kid-friendly. The business advertises binders full of weekly recipes and quality educational materials, but after seeing what all that was really about, it felt like a rip off...way too much money for something that felt gimmicky. The birthday parties they throw are chaotic as well.\r \r On top of that, sometimes there is only one instructor for a lot of kids, and that poor person is running around everywhere doing a crazy amount of work cooking and cleaning all while trying to supervise 15+ kids using electric blenders! Talk about a disaster waiting to happen. Overall, I give this school a poor rating and would not enroll my children there again. Too bad there is not a more down to earth cooking school for kids, within the means of a typical parent's checkbook.
