Unfortunately, I didn't find Progressive Tech (Rich) until I had already paid another local laptop repair shop to ""diagnose"" my keyboard problem and tell me I would need to pay hundreds to perform repairs that didn't even need to be done (verified by photos taken of the inside of my laptop). Not only was the other shop planning to replace parts that didn't need to be replaced, but they were going to charge me substantially more for the parts than if I had bought the same quality myself at Best Buy. Rich objectively and accurately diagnosed my problem, provided personal service (including pick up and delivery of my laptop) and performed timely repairs with no hidden charges or extra fees. In fact, he went out of his way to find the least expensive source for replacement parts and always consulted with me prior to proceeding. I found the service reliable, trustworthy and reasonable. Progressive Tech is where you need to go if you seek neutral, honest and effective computer repair.
