Businiess name:  Mission Gate Kennels

Review content:
Toured mission gates facility and was sold solely on the location and cleanliness. Few days later when I dropped my dog off, the staff was very in personable. Customer service needs to be re-evaluated. We pet owner?s need to feel comfortable with the people we are entrusting our kids (pets) with. A simple hello can go a long way. No hello, no sympathy. Lets just say that I left my dog there feeling very uneasy, and since I had a flight to catch, I really had no choice. I had specific directions for feeding and the staff member didn't write it down, so I doubt that my directions were followed. I paid for extra exercise service for everyday he was left, which I question they actually did. I mean, there is no way of me knowing. A ""no-bark"" zone is not a place for a kennel where dogs are expected to bark. What I didn't realize prior to dropping him off is that they use bark collars to stop them from barking?? Isn?t this a kennel, and don't dogs bark? Sad to say, they did use a bark collar on my dog, which surprises me since he's not much of a barker, but may follow lead of other barkers. Does that mean, all the dogs were wearing a bark collar? When I picked him up, I noticed that he lost a few pounds. Being still a puppy, he is still not use to riding in a car. On our way home about noonish, he started getting sick and tried to v0mit, but there was nothing in his stomach to v0mit. How long did he go w/o eating? This is no place for your dog. Cons: EVERYTHING
