Review content:
This is my first restaurant review, but our experience was so dreadful, I needed to write. To be fair, we did not order steak and, from checking out what other people ordered, that's what people like at M&M. It was loud, but that's OK, there are plenty of places to go for that quiet evening. The service was fine - no complaints. It was the food that was so awful. Without exception, everything we ordered was over the top and consequently, just bad. The house salad dressing that ""everyone loves"" is just a sweet mess. The blue cheese coleslaw was missing at least half the cabbage - it was more like a cheese ball with a few vegies stuck in for color. The ribs did fall off the bone as the waitress said, but they were dry, and of course, coated in a sweet uninspiring bbq sauce. However, none of the dishes was worse than the shrimp and grits. I was prepared for a rich dish, but it was almost inedible. If I could have wiped off the shimp and gotten a plate a plain grits, it would have been bearable. Just for the shear fun of it, we took the leftoevers home just to look at it all in the morning congealed together in the ""to go"" box. Portions were large and it is apparent that many people like this restaurant as it was packed with an hour and a half wait at 6:15 on a Wednesday night, but I don't see how we could give it another try.
