We took our dog to Dr. Smith for a full check up and neuter. While we were there talking with the doctor we told her he needed to get his vaccines. I also informed her that he had been coughing a lot, and his anal glands were swollen. Dr. Smith said she would give him his shots, do full blood work and take a stool sample. I was expressing my concerns and she just shrugged me off didnt reassure me at all or give me any valid answers to any of the questions I asked. I should have taken our dog to a different vet after our encounter with her, but I figured she was probably just weird cause shes a ""holistic"" animal doctor. \r
Anyway, we left buddy there to get things taken care of and we were told to pick our dog up at 4pm, she said she would also have the results from his lab tests. We got there to get Buddy and he was crying. and shaking. Dr. Smith said it was normal and it would go away by the next day. Buddy was sick for a week after that. She also told us he was very healthy, no signs of heartworm, or anything else, which was great news. We bought his heartworm meds, and front line there, and after paying a $700.00 vet bill we went home.\r

Its been a little less than 2 months since Buddy saw Dr. Smith. Buddy is still coughing and now he is sleeping a lot, Last night buddy threw up what looks like a big serving of spaghetti. Hook worm, or round worm is what it looks like. It is common in puppies I guess, but Bud is 4 YEARS OLD. These worms if left untreated effect a dogs lungs, liver, or even their heart from what I understand.\r

If Dr. Smith did treat and test buddy like she said she did she would have known he had this problem! His coughing, and vomiting are not normal. He does not have allergies, his tummy isnt naturally round! Buddy is infested and he is SICK. Thanks a lot for nothing Dr. Smith. You are a shitty ass Doctor, you have no bedside manners, and you honestly dont do the work you say you do, nor do you really honestly care for other peoples pets.\r
