Per a recommendation from my boss, we went here to celebrate an award my section received for outstanding work. The criteria for us picking this place was it had to be a dive with drink specials and great food. So when my boss mentioned Chicago Style Pizza I gladly voted to give this place a try. \r \r I walked in and the restaurant/bar it looked pretty cool with it's Chicago themed signs on the wall. The bathrooms were clean but dirty, if you know what I mean, so the dive bar issue was covered. \r \r We had two servers and both of them were very pleasant. They had beer and well drink specials all reasonably priced. Another check mark. \r \r My group ordered Mozzarella sticks and three pizzas. The mozzarella sticks looked more like big chucks of fried cheese. My buddy said they were pretty good. All three pizzas were regular style not Chicago. They looked good, but no one mentioned if they tasted good. I really wasn't paying attention because I had already decided that I was getting some Chicago deep dish pizza to take home to the family. I ordered one large Chicago Deep Dish with the sauce on the bottom with mushrooms and sausage and One medium Chicago Deep Dish with sauce on the bottom with pepperoni. They delivered my pies and they looked great. I said my good byes to my remaining colleagues and I started the long trek home and trust me its a long drive from Hollywood Beach to West Coral Springs. \r \r When I got home my son was so excited because he loves Unos Pizzeria. He dove right in and said it was pretty good. I took a bite of my pizza and the first thing I noticed it was missing the sausage and mushrooms. Man I was pissed. After driving all that way and having a good time to have them screw my order up really sucked. My anger must have effected my taste buds because I really wasn't impressed with the pizza. The crust seemed to doughy and the sauce was to sweet. I didn't like it. \r \r When I went to work the next day I asked the guys if they like the pizza and they all replied no. Three guys who had been to this place before said the pizza wasn't as good as they had years ago. \r \r Hmmmmmm Remember to tell them that Dan sent you for everything except the pizza. Stay Hungry!
