My stomach turns to think of how bad the food was last night. My ""medium"" steak was cooked ""well done"" if not ""charred to shoe leather."" Had I been eating in the dining room instead of the lounge I would have sent it back. And the sauce served with it was gagworthy. It would have tasted better on pancakes it was so sweet. The frazzled (but professional) server was short-staffed in a full to overflowing lounge, so I decided against sending it back and, instead, vowing to never eat here again. I also had the chopped salad, which boasted hearts of palm, peppers, chickpeas, egg, olives, tomato - which came with overdressed iceberg lettuce and about a teaspoon of the accoutrement - combined. A couple chick peas, a molecule of hearts of palm here and there, I never saw any egg or peppers. This place is way over-rated. The others at my table - there were 5 of us - weren't thrilled with their food either. One got the $38 broiled seafood platter and could barely eat the rubbery lobster tail. What a huge disappointment. But - the upside is that the jazz band in the lounge was amazing and the reason why we decided to sit in the lounge instead of the dining room. I would go back for drinks only when this band is playing - I'd just skip the food. Pros: The jazz band Cons: Everything else
